OYE Project Business Development Service Training At Mandela Village Kilosa District Morogoro

Youth Power Organization (YPO) in collaboration with SNV (Netherlands Development Organization) and Mafiga Women And Youth Development Organization (MWAYODEO) is implementing Opportunities for Youth Employment (OYE) phase 2 project in Business Development Services (BDS) to 42 youth from Magole and Mandela Villages, Kilosa District. 

BDS training was conducted for five (5) days, 42 OYE youth obtained Entrepreneurship and Business Development Skills in areas of Business Plans Development, What it takes to Start and Build a Sustainable Business ,Proper Record Keepings, Sources of Capital, Business Management, and Business Leadership.

Participatory and Group Discussions Approach were used throught the Training. This was to ensure conducive friendly learning environment and Skills is cemented and grasped by OYE youth.

During the training OYE phase 1 Youth Champions were invited.

Miss Happy who was one among the OYE champions in OYE phase 1, Providing inspirational message during BDS training to her fellow youth. She is from Magole Village. She demonstrated How OYE project exposed her to self employment opportunities and now she is earning a sustainable income and a recognition as a female role model in the village.
