From 25th to 29th August 2025, Save the Children Tanzania conducted an Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and Organizational Capacity Development (OCD) workshop for the YPO team and board members. The aim is to strengthen YPO’s institutional capacity for the organization’s sustainability.

This crucial activity is part of the VIJANA Plus Project funded by the European Union.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Joseph Brighton Malekela.

YPO was represented by two board members, the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator, the Membership Officer, the Communication Officer, the Field Officer, and two YPO members. The workshop was highly engaging and interactive.

Mr. Malekela commended YPO for its intelligence, dedication, and strong teamwork, noting that it was one of his best facilitation experiences.

This milestone represents a significant step for YPO in developing stronger internal systems, improving accountability, and positioning the organization to have a greater impact in empowering youth across Tanzania.
