Youth Power Organization Campus Ambassador Program (Y-CAP) empowers young individuals on campus (colleges and universities) with the relevant skills required for today’s job market, ensuring they are work-ready, have realized their potential and have clear pathways to employment opportunities.

Benefits of being a YPO Campus Ambassador (YCA):

As a YCA, you will represent YPO on your campus and community. You will gain access to various employment opportunity benefits that will amplify your impact and enrich your life journey. This is through:

• Gain work experience by working alongside YPO Staff on implementing university programs and events.
• Gain networking opportunities with YPO Staff, employers, development professionals, and like-minded peers.
• Receive capacity building on in-demand employment skills, leadership, digital advocacy, communication, public speaking, and youth mobilization.
• A stipend commission as compensation for your dedicated time and effort to mobilize new members and share YPO work on your campus and community.
• Receive monthly rewards and/or recognition for outstanding performance.
• Receive financial support for innovative, planned, and implemented activities.

Criteria to be a YCA: You should:

• Be a current student not in your final semester.
• Aged between 15 and 35 years old.
• Follow and/or subscribe to all YPO social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube)
• Be a member of YPO, which means you have paid a lifetime membership subscription fee of TZs 50,000/=.
• Be committed and available to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to performing YPO duties.
• Be passionate about communication and social media.
• Have high social influence.
• Be passionate about youth-led developments.
• Be innovative and goal-oriented.
